Your data stays on your phone
Paycheq has no accounts and no servers. Everything you enter is stored on your iPhone, and we never see it.
What Paycheq stores
On your phone only:
- Your jobs and their settings, rates, contract rules and union dues.
- Your shifts, breaks and notes.
- Cheque stubs and year-to-date amounts.
- Your answers to holiday questions, reminders and app settings.
What Paycheq never does
- No sign-up or account.
- No tracking, analytics or ads.
- No sending your shifts, pay or contracts anywhere. Paycheq doesn’t use the internet for your data at all.
The labour rules and tax tables are built into the app and update with app updates.
When something leaves your phone
Only when you send it:
- Backups go where you save them, or to a Paycheq folder in your own iCloud Drive if you turn that on.
- Exports and shared contract rules go only where you share them.
- Paycheq Pro purchases are handled by the App Store. Paycheq never sees your payment details.
Good to know
- Deleting Paycheq deletes its data from your phone. Save a backup first if you might want it back.
- Reminders are set on your phone. Nothing is sent anywhere.
- The widget and Live Activity read from your phone only.
