Clock-in and clock-out reminders
Paycheq can remind you to clock in at the start of your day, and to clock out if you’re still on the clock when your shift usually ends.
Turning reminders on
- Open the Settings tab and tap Reminders.
- Turn on Daily reminders.
- If your iPhone asks, tap Allow, so Paycheq can send notifications.
- Set Clock in to when your shift usually starts.
- Set Clock out to when your shift usually ends.
- Under Quiet days, tap the days you don’t work, such as Sat and Sun. You won’t get a clock-in reminder on those days.
You can also turn reminders on during setup.

What you’ll get
- Time to clock in: at your clock-in time, on days that aren’t quiet, if you haven’t clocked in yet. Tap it to open the Clock screen.
- Still on the clock?: at your clock-out time, only if you’re clocked in. Tap it to clock out.
If reminders don’t arrive
- If the Reminders screen says notifications are off, open the iPhone Settings app, tap Notifications, then Paycheq, and turn on Allow Notifications.
- Check that a Focus, such as Sleep or Work, isn’t silencing Paycheq.
- Reminders are set two weeks ahead. Open Paycheq at least every couple of weeks to keep them coming.
Good to know
- Reminders are set on your phone. Nothing is sent anywhere.
- To stop them, turn off Daily reminders.
