Your data

  • Backing up and restoring

Everything in Paycheq lives on your phone. A backup is one file with all your jobs, shifts, contract rules, cheque stubs and settings, so you can get them back if your phone is lost or replaced.

  • Using a flat tax percentage

If you'd rather keep it simple, or your employer takes a set percentage, Paycheq can take a flat share of your gross pay as tax instead of using CRA's formulas.

  • Union dues

Paycheq takes your union dues off your cheque the way your employer does, and lowers the tax on that cheque to match.

  • How Paycheq estimates tax

Paycheq estimates the federal and provincial tax, CPP and EI on each cheque with the Canada Revenue Agency's payroll formulas, the same ones employers' payroll systems use.

  • TD1 claim amounts

Your TD1 forms tell your employer how much income to leave untaxed. Most people claim only the basic amount, and that's Paycheq's default.

  • Your data stays on your phone

Paycheq has no accounts and no servers. Everything you enter is stored on your iPhone, and we never see it.

Can't find it?

Paycheq keeps everything on your phone, and its pay figures are estimates, not legal or tax advice.
