Easier setup
Setup now opens with how Paycheq keeps your data private: everything stays on your phone, and iCloud backup goes only to your own iCloud Drive.
A new slide gives a quick tour of what Paycheq does.
New Your last cheque step: enter the pay period dates and payday from a recent stub. Paycheq works out how often you’re paid and when, so you don’t have to set it up in Jobs. If you’re not sure, you can skip it.
Paycheq Pro
Union contract rules and tracking more than one job are now part of Paycheq Pro. Monthly and yearly plans start with a 7-day free trial.
The free version includes one job with your province’s labour rules, live tracking, pay and net estimates, cheque comparisons, exports, backups and reminders.
Beta testers get Pro free. To see the free version or try buying Pro, turn on Try the free version in Settings. Beta purchases aren’t charged.
Pay
The pay period view now shows CPP and EI this year: how much you’ve paid toward each yearly maximum, counting this cheque and the ones before it.
Pay figures load faster, especially the Year view later in the year and while you’re clocked in. The numbers are the same as before.
Jobs
Add a job with the + at the top of the screen, like on Week and Clock.
iPhone Duo
With the phone open, every screen uses both halves:
- Clock: the clock on the left, your week on the right.
- Week: the days on the left, the day you tap on the right.
- Pay: earnings on one side, deductions and your cheque on the other.
- Jobs and Settings: the list on the left, the chosen item on the right.
- Setup: each question on the left, its answers on the right.
